Being within walking distance of the resort means you can get on it quickly whenever you want to. The other most commonly surfed wave at Niyama is Kasabu. This is a right-hander that’s a 10-minute boat ride across the channel. It can also be considered a world-class wave with both rippable walls and barrel sections. Surf lessons are available for novices and intermediates. There are placid lagoons and gentle waves in the area that Niyama’s instructors used as locations for teaching. Coaching is also available for intermediate and advanced surfers looking to improve their skills.
